Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a deadline oriented, team player with strong follow up and multi-tasking skills to support NYC production studio.

Responsibilities/Duties

QC digital deliverables for acceptability

Transcode assets based on platform requirements

Deliver film, trailer, art, closed captions and metadata to digital platforms per their individual specifications

Manage the export and vetting of licensor supplied metadata for acceptability

Coordinate the creation of metadata records and ID numbers in asset manager

Backup digital film content via AWS

Complete work orders including sizzle reels and clip creation

Upload and download files using FTP and Aspera

Transfer digital assets and metadata to encoding houses

Administrative duties including coordinating bi-weekly technical calls, generating weekly reports and arranging shipping and messenger services

Qualifications

Excellent organizational and prioritizations skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines

Ability to communicate effectively internally as well as with platforms and licensors

Digital Sales Intern

Position/Title: Digital Sales Intern

Department: Digital Sales

Position Summary

Cinedigm is seeking a part-time candidate to support our Digital Sales Team with data entry, composing PowerPoint presentations, pulling reports, as well as various other duties to support the department. This is a Paid-Internship at a competitive rate.

This is not a summer internship and are looking for local candidates that are available during the school year through the summer. For Bachelor’s Degree graduates, this is a great part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities/Duties

Maintain and coordinate a number of group schedules and sales/marketing materials.

Research and select film/TV titles for promotional submissions.

Assemble title avails lists and work with team on entering metadata changes.

Research competitive titles in the marketplace to assist team with sales analysis.

Take screenshots of promotional placement and provide to group.

Help prepare PowerPoint decks for pitches to digital platforms, studio partners, and for internal meetings.

Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, or in progress

Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills required

Passion for Film, Television, & Home Entertainment in the evolving digital space a PLUS

Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving and dynamic business

SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Position Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and experience installing and supporting a vast array of software and hardware, at the desktop.

Responsibilities/Duties

Service Desk: First point of contact and support. Service Ticket intake, triage, escalations, monitoring, and follow up

Install & configure software on Workstations

Install new / rebuild existing hardware and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, associated storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project / operational goals and requirements

New user hardware and software setup

Contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of infrastructure systems, configuration, and software standards including master system images

Works closely with the IT team members, to learn, understand, and assist with day to day and project related tasks

Product implementation support

Front line support for Cisco UCS & Unified Messaging

Other duties, as required

Qualifications

1-2 years PC support experience

1+ years server support experience

Specific Knowledge Abilities and Skills

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal), strong documentation skills

Ability to identify and analyze and prioritize incoming requests for assistance

Strong organization, planning, and troubleshooting skills. The ability to triage and problem solve with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills

Apple / MAC support experience

Ability to follow established process, analyze and recommend process improvements

A solid understanding of the many Operating System versions; Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Workstation, Apple Mac, and Mobile Operating Systems

A solid understanding of networking principals and enterprise network architecture, including but not limited to; TCP/IP, routing principals, private WAN

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to troubleshoot.

WordPress or other website CMS experience.

Familiarity with Premiere Pro CC, Media Encoder CC, and Aspera are a plus

Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory users and groups and Organizational Units (OUs)

Highly flexible. Able to appropriately re-prioritize activities and work variable hours including overtime

Works well under pressure, able to remain focused and professional during high stress situation

Willingness to learn new technologies, think “outside the box”, and be part of a highly motivated team of IT professionals

Education and Experience

MCP, MCSE, or other Microsoft Coursework / Certifications (preferred)

vmWare Certification (preferred)

Experience working in a medium sized environment (>150 Users)

Experience with the following technologies (including but not limited to); Windows Server patching, server maintenance, backup / restore, SAN environments, tiered application servers

Qualifications

Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with an accredited university in the fields of Film/Television preferred, but not required. Will also consider recent graduates.

Basic to intermediate skills with the Microsoft Office 365 environment (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience with Photoshop (especially Premier), video editing and design software is preferred.

Previous internship or work experience in an office is preferred. Experience in an entertainment company is a plus.

Independent, self-starter, proactive and motivated to learn

Ability to work in a team environment
