Chris McGurk is the CEO and Chairman of the Board at Cinedigm. Under McGurk’s leadership, Cinedigm has emerged as the leading independent entertainment studio, releasing independent films, managing an extensive library of diverse titles across all major platforms, and becoming the leading independent multi-channel distributor in North America and China. His forward-thinking approach has been integral in cementing Cinedigm’s business operations as a true force in the highly competitive and ever-expanding entertainment market. His vast studio experience has proven invaluable, as he pioneered Cinedigm’s historic reciprocal distribution partnership with China, establishing the Company as the first China/US independent studio in the world—providing content and digital-first channels and services to the globe’s fastest-growing business segment in both countries.

Jeffrey Edell is Cinedigm’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial and accounting, IT, and operational functions domestically and internationally, as well as accounting oversight, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, investor relations, risk management, IT services, M&A, and corporate / business development and strategy.

Edell previously founded Edell Ventures and Edell Productions, served as CEO of Inferno Distribution, and President of DIC Entertainment—orchestrating DIC’s sale in 2008. Before DIC, Edell was Chairman of Intermix Media, which sold in 2005; and CEO and President of Oscar-and Emmy-winning Soundelux Entertainment Group, increasing revenues for six years until the company sold in 2001, earning Edell NASDAQ and Ernst & Young’s Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He has completed 20-plus mergers & acquisitions.

Edell served on MySpace/Intermix Media, Soundelux Entertainment Group, and IVC Industries’ boards, and belongs to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He has spoken at CAA, ICM, Bank of America, USC, UCLA, Auburn University, and FSU, and was a Professor and Resident Entrepreneur at FSU’s College of Motion Picture Arts from 2014-2016. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, and is a licensed CPA.

Gary S. Loffredo is President, Digital Cinema & General Counsel. He has been a key management figure since 2000, working as Senior Vice President – Business Affairs, General Counsel, Secretary, and Interim Co-Chief Executive Officer, and serving on the Directors Board.

Loffredo managed Cinedigm’s initial public offering, ASE listing, and transfer of listing to NASDAQ; negotiated agreements with studios, securing long-term cashflow; restructured agreements with Convertible Noteholders; renegotiated office leases; negotiated and closed 11 acquisitions; supervised due diligence teams; negotiated purchases; and coordinated integration of acquisitions. Additionally, he renegotiated contracts to eliminate minimum guaranteed payments or terminate without penalty.

He supervised the consolidation of benefits—saving 20% in benefit costs—and presently supervises SEC reporting and compliance, NASDAQ listing and compliance, and Delaware General Corporation Law compliance, advising the Company’s Board of Directors on corporate governance, SEC compliance, Director’s and Officer’s Liability Insurance, and Board of Directors fiduciary duties. He also advises the Compensation Committee on executive and director issues, and created a compensation structure. He currently manages six in-house attorneys and paralegals, the HR department, and all company litigation.

Loffredo was previously Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Cablevision Cinemas, and an attorney at Kelley, Drye & Warren.

Jill Newhouse Calcaterra is Cinedigm’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications, reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Chris McGurk. Calcaterra manages external communications for Cinedigm, handling investors and the entertainment industry, with emphasis on Cinedigm’s foreign and domestic OTT and international outreach efforts—particularly in Asia—following the recent investment by Chinese firm Bison Capital.

Under Calcaterra’s leadership, Cinedigm has evolved into one of the largest independent distributors of film and TV content across all media platforms in the U.S. The Company’s library of almost 50,000 films and TV episodes, distribution strength across all platforms, and digital expertise in all media, puts Cinedigm in unique position to take advantage of tremendous opportunities generated by the shift to digital delivery and consumption that continues to revolutionize entertainment. Cinedigm is poised to aggressively develop the (OTT) Digital Channel business, and has already launched or announced nine channels.

A 25-year year industry veteran, Calcaterra has served as VP Marketing, Promotions, and Partner Relations at Nelvana Communications/Corus Entertainment, and VP Marketing at PorchLight Entertainment. She gleaned experience in advertising at Goldberg Moser O’Neill and Hoffman/Lewis, and has also been a trusted advisor to clients such as Simon Malls, Smartycard, Imbee, Everloop, MGA/Bratz, and PBS Kids.

Bill Sondheim is President of Cinedigm Entertainment Group and Worldwide Distribution, overseeing all content rights management across all distribution channels that Cinedigm serves. This includes managing all sales of physical and digital goods to retail partners and all transactional and subscription digital outlets. He is responsible for all label deals and licensing partnerships for both Marketing and Brand Management and Supplier Relationships, as well as related Operations and Post Production activities. In his capacity as President of Worldwide Distribution, Sondheim is spearheading Cinedigm’s expansion into the Chinese Market and has established relationships with leading content providers, streaming services, and government agencies, in addition to managing distribution in the rest of the world.

Before joining Cinedigm, Mr. Sondheim served as Gaiam’s President of Entertainment and Worldwide Distribution. From 2005 to 2007, he helmed the development of Sony Music Entertainment’s dual disc technology initiative. Prior to Sony, he was President of GT Brands LLC, and President of Polygram Filmed Entertainment’s video distribution entity.
Through his career Mr. Sondheim has managed properties associated with the NFL, NBA, MLB, Reebok, Scholastic, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and fitness personalities including Jillian Michaels, Richard Simmons, and Kathy Smith.

Mr. Sondheim graduated from Kenyon College and attended the London School of Economics for Advanced Management Training. He sits on The Board of the Digital Entertainment Group and is a Board Member of the Fairfield Theater Company.

Erick Opeka brings over 15 years of experience as an executive at the intersection of entertainment and technology. Currently, he is the President of Cinedigm Networks (NASDAQ:CIDM), where he oversees the company’s multi-million user base of OTT entertainment services available online, on mobile app, gaming consoles, connected TVs, and multichannel providers. He oversees all development, planning, launch and operations of the company’s nine channels including documentary network Docurama, fandom network CONtv, family network Dove Channel, eSports network Wham, and martial arts channel CombatGO.

Previously, Erick was SVP of Global Digital for Cinedigm Entertainment, where he oversaw the distribution of the company’s 60,000+ hours of content in the digital ecosystem, managing multi-platform content strategy & distribution with partners including Netflix, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Hulu among others. Prior to Cinedigm, Erick co-founded and served as General Manager of New Video Digital, growing it to largest aggregator of independent video content in the world for customers including A&E Network, History Channel, Lifetime, The Jim Henson Company, and hundreds more.

Erick began his career in entertainment at Madstone Theaters/New Yorker Films, a vertically-integrated exhibitor, distributor and digital cinema pioneer, where he held positions in audience services and marketing. He also served as a lead technology trainer and combat medic in the U.S. Army Infantry.

Widely recognized in his field, Erick has been named a Digital Driver six times by Home Media Magazine. He is a frequent moderator and speaker at industry events including the Sundance Film Festival, SxSW, AFM, and Independent Film Week, among others. He is also a member of the Producers Guild of America, on the board of Digital Hollywood and a member of the International Academy of Web Television. Erick also mentors Los Angeles entertainment startups at Techstars.

Erick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration degree from Florida State University.

Yolanda Macías is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, renewing and acquiring global content rights from independent producers and studios for all distribution platforms. She oversees digital and television distribution across all world-wide platforms and for all consumption models. In addition, Macias oversees the strategy, growth and relationships with the distributed content providers, producers and film makers. Recent film and catalogue acquisitions include: Hallmark Hall of Fame and Corus/Nelvana.

During her tenure at Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment, Macías oversaw content acquisitions including securing home entertainment distribution rights for Crown Media’s Hallmark Channel and The Jim Henson Company. Macías helmed the launch and established the distribution strategy for Vivendi Entertainment’s digital distribution services along with acquiring rights for branded content such as National Geographic, WWE, NFL and Shout!Factory.

Macias was honored as one of the Top 50 Women in Business by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Macias was honored as one of the Elite Women 2009 – 2018 in the home entertainment industry and was recognized as an industry digital driver in 2010 – 2018. Macías received her MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and her B.S. degree from California State University, Northridge.

Bobbi Levine is SVP, Production. In that role, she supervises production for all Cinedigm business streams including digital, physical, theatrical and OTT. She oversees intake and delivery of all assets worldwide from on-boarding through delivery of content, manages the company’s in-house studio, relationships with outsourcing partners and technical services at the digital platforms. She joined the company in 2000 as VP of Operations, formerly holding positions at BMG Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Dan Coyle joined Cinedigm Entertainment after the acquisition of Gaiam, Inc.’s Entertainment Unit. In his role as SVP of Sales, Dan is responsible for strategic planning and sales of physical media for the company’s catalog of over 5,000 titles. Dan previously held the same position at Gaiam since 2005. Prior to Gaiam he was Vice President of Retail Operations at Goodtimes Entertainment where he joined in 1991 and helped launch the first VMI program in the video industry.

Michelle Nunes joined Cinedigm in October of 2013 and is responsible for overall physical Home Entertainment operational management, strategic planning, sourcing, and operational profit and loss. In addition, Michelle is responsible for operational policies and procedures, and staff training and development.

Michelle has over 20 years of Home Entertainment experience. Prior to joining Cinedigm she held similar responsibilities at Gaiam, and Vivendi Entertainment. Michelle began her career in Home Entertainment at Universal Studios Home Entertainment with the implementation and management of their Vendor Managed Inventory system and processes.

Michelle received her B.S. degree from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.

Bill Perrault is Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management at Cinedigm, overseeing the entertainment division’s marketing and studio relations.

Before joining Cinedigm, Perrault formed a distribution company focused on asset recovery for the packaged media industry, and funded Groovpix, a concert-centric DVD and digital content company. Prior to that, he was recruited by Citadel Broadcasting to create a web and streaming network for 400 radio stations.

Perrault was the first sales and marketing executive of the Tribune Company acquisition, Compton’s NewMedia, creating the first multimedia version of Compton’s Encyclopedia and turning the property into a consumer brand sold at major retailers. Perrault previously served as sales head for Philips Media, and CMO of Columbia Tristar Home Video—working on Sony’s home releases, building an infrastructure to service the growing industry, and implementing an annual release schedule of 100-plus films. Perrault came to Columbia Tristar from Vestron Pictures, where he handled the branding and marketing of Dirty Dancing.

Perrault’s career began working for one of New England’s first home entertainment distribution companies, gaining marketing experience and building some of the first regional home entertainment marketing programs for major movie studios.

Perrault is a 30-year industry veteran, and a pioneer of ad-insertion.

Diane Anselmo is the Vice President, Customer Operations for Cinedigm’s Digital Cinema Division. Diane joined Cinedigm in 2004 to initiate and develop programs for Cinedigm’s pioneering launch of Digital Cinema conversions across the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand. Diane oversees operations of approximately 12,000 systems included in Cinedigm’s VPF program. Diane brings extensive experience in operations management, customer relationships, sales, budgeting and financial oversight including billing and collections to our Digital Cinema division.

Diane has Broad experience in both theatrical distribution and exhibition having worked previously at such companies as Sony Pictures Entertainment, United Artists Theatres and Gold Circle Films over the course of 14 years prior to joining Cinedigm.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Emerson College in Boston Massachusetts.

As Vice-President of Acquisitions for Cinedigm, Melody Fowler sources, evaluates and negotiates for content for acquisition across all of Cinedigm’s distribution platforms, including theatrical, home media and the company’s growing digital over-the-top (OTT) networks. Fowler previously held acquisitions positions with Vivendi Entertainment and Gaiam Vivendi.

Earlier in her career, Fowler worked in film and TV development with Harpo Films, Oprah Winfrey’s film and TV production company. She served as an Associate Producer on THE GREAT DEBATERS, directed by and starring Denzel Washington, and MITCH ALBOM’S FOR ONE MORE DAY, starring Michael Imperioli and Ellen Burstyn.

Fowler received her JD from the UCLA School of Law and her B.A. degree from Duke University.

Frank Lupo joined Cinedigm’s Digital Cinema Finance Division in October 2011. He reports to the President of Digital Cinema Gary Loffredo and is responsible for the domestic and international virtual print fee distributor invoicing, exhibitor reporting and cost recoupment tracking for 300+ exhibitors (12,500 Screens). Prior to joining Cinedigm, Lupo held the position of Director of Finance for the leading Producer/Distributor of TV movies and mini-series- RHI Entertainment (Formerly Hallmark Entertainment). Lupo was a key member of the management team that secured $600 million of financing in 2006 to purchase the company from Hallmark Cards and successfully completed the 2008 initial public offering.

Chris Panagiotakos joined Cinedigm in October of 2013 and is responsible for company’s accounting function, oversight of the company’s external audit, compliance and controls in addition to staff training and development.

Chris has over 15 years of Media and Entertainment industry experience. Prior to joining Cinedigm he held similar responsibilities at Young Broadcasting, a media company that owned and operated 12 television stations in 10 U.S markets. Prior to that Chris held various key positions in the software industry.

Chris received his BBA degree from Baruch College, in NYC and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rich Mallery joined Cinedigm in August 2013 where he took on the position of VP Digital Sales, leading the digital sales team and focusing on growing Cinedigm’s transactional business. Since then Mallery has significantly expanded his role to oversee all aspects of Cinedigm’s digital sales business including SVOD, TV licensing and global new business development. While at Cinedigm, Mallery has negotiated and executed over 45+ new business agreements adding key domestic and international accounts including Redbox on Demand, FandangoNow, Tubi TV and The Roku Channel.

Prior to joining Cinedigm, Mallery previously held the position of Sr. Director, Digital Sales and Marketing at Entertainment One. While in that role, Mallery oversaw Entertainment One’s U.S. digital business, creating and implementing strategic sales initiatives as well as licensing content and developing new business. A fourteen-year entertainment industry veteran, Mallery was recognized as an industry digital driver in 2013.

Tony Huidor is Vice President of Product and Digital Operations for Cinedigm, responsible for the launch and management of subscription and ad-supported digital-first channels and overseeing product development, digital content distribution, ad operations, customer acquisition, customer support, quality assurance, and data-driven analytics, while managing online and mobile apps.

Huidor previously served as Universal Music Group (UMG) Distribution’s VP of Technical Product Development, creating revenue opportunities within the digital and mobile sectors, and launching various music-based products.

Huidor was VP of Product Development and Operations for Universal Music Group, establishing operational and production capabilities of UMG. He was key in UMG’s Mobile division that launched the company’s ringtone business, earning over $500MM.

Prior to UMG, Huidor was Director of Product Development for Walt Disney Internet Group—spearheading worldwide mobile content production with emphasis on the Asian Pacific region, and launching key web properties—including Disney.com.cn—across other Asian countries. He was also instrumental in establishing Disney’s mobile content production capabilities. He previously worked for the online unit of E!

Huidor’s career began at Philips Interactive Media, where he was involved in the development and production of interactive games and entertainment titles.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA.

Samina Merchant is the VP of Financial Reporting at Cinedigm. Samina has over 20 years of experience in accounting of Public Company operations and reporting for high growth technology and entertainment companies. Samina joined Cinedigm in December 2016. Before joining Cinedigm, Samina most recently was the Controller at TrueCar, a Santa Monica-based publicly-traded technology company. Previously, Samina was the Controller at Boingo, another publicly-traded company. In addition, she has approximately 8 years of public accounting experience with BDO. Samina is a CPA and holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A in Accounting from Adelphi University

Chris Pak is the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Business Development.

Before joining Cinedigm, Chris was the Chief Financial Officer for ARC Entertainment, an independent film distribution and production company, heading up business planning, investor relations, accounting, planning, and financing arrangements.

Chris also spent 20 years with Warner Bros. in the Home Entertainment group, most recently as the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Digital Distribution Group where he developed financial and strategic planning business models and processes for the newly formed entity.

Prior to joining the digital distribution group, Chris oversaw Strategic Planning for Warner Home Video serving as VP of Worldwide Strategic Planning reporting to the President where he was responsible for quantifying, developing, and implementing strategies in domestic and international markets as well as corporate M&As. He also held positions at MGM/UA, Activision, and Walt Disney Pictures and Television.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the California State University, Northridge.

Mark Torres has served as a senior Human Resources executive with such notable companies as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Ticketmaster and Reed Elsevier/Variety, as well as several technology and media start-up companies. Mark also served as SVP of People & Culture at AdTec/Rubicon Project building their first internal HR function in preparation of their IPO. In addition to consulting with several start-up media organizations, Mark served as the VP of HR and Administration at ideation/advertising leader, phenomenon.

Mark is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications.
